Meet Jordan Almond
I’m a wife to my best friend, mama to three, and learning daily how to balance full hands with a full heart. Free time is basically a unicorn at our house, so when I show up, I show up all the way—no surface-level small talk here. What you see is what you get. I say what I mean, mean what I say, and try to lead with truth (usually with a caffeinated beverage in hand). And if there’s sunshine and water involved, I’m basically thriving.
After walking through a season of spiritual complacency (we’ve all been there) and a hard parenting season that exposed my need for Him more than ever, the Lord stirred something deeper in me. I don’t want lukewarm faith—I want daily pursuit, real growth, and a walk with Jesus that actually changes me.
I’m expectant for what He’s going to do in and through this group as we dig in, go deep, and chase Him wholeheartedly together.
No fluff, no fake—just Jesus, growth, and a lot of laughter along the way. That’s the vibe.
Meet Heather Yowler
I’ve been married to Joe, a firefighter, for 12 years, and I understand the unique strength and surrender that comes with being a first responder wife. I’m a mom to two daughters and love traveling , but my heart is happiest at the beach or spending quiet time with Jesus in my garden.
I’m often the comedic relief in any group I’m part of and I fully plan to bring that same joy and authenticity as I co-lead this season.
The Genuine Community has deeply shaped my walk with Christ. Here, I was embraced fully for who I am, and through that love I developed a deep, solid relationship with Jesus. Now, my heart is to extend that same embrace to other women.
Whether you’ve never opened a Bible or you’ve walked with Jesus your whole life, I want you to know: you are seen, loved, and welcomed. I’m so excited to share what I’ve learned and to grow right alongside you.
