At the beginning of each new year I am behind the scenes preparing for a new #mlhseniorrolemodels team. I am writing and rewriting plans, refining old ideas, and developing new ones. I pray that we are able to build upon the things we started the previous year and that I will soon be able to see all of my dreams for this new year take shape.
If you follow me on social media then it’s no secret that I am enthusiastic about everything! So hopefully you don’t roll your eyes when I say that I AM VERY EXCITED about this year. I am especially excited because last year brought countless amazing experiences with the model team. After so many years of hard work, there were several ideas that came to full fruition. From self defense class to healthy eating to the IT CAN WAIT campaign, we came together as a team to grow and develop for the betterment of ourselves and others.
As it is with each new team, I know that they have been perfectly assembled by God and that our team is meant to be together. As we move through this 17 month journey together, we will discover all of the reasons we have been brought into each others lives, because I know that it’s much more than surface level. It goes way deeper.
I am so happy to be here, right now, with this group of inspiring young women.
Welcome to the team …
Meg, Ally, Rebecca, Emily, Alex, Emma, Taylor, Chloe, Grace, Alex, Camron, Angelina,
Callie, Brittney, Carson, Avery & Kendall
Our welcome party was hosted by one of our most favorite boutiques and team sponsors, Emleighs and Mama B’s Boutique. Emma has been so gracious and kind to the model team. We are very lucky to have this partnership!
We have 8 high schools represented this year!! Therefore at the welcome party we had to try and get to know each other real quick! Nothing like a good game of speed dating to do the trick!!
These girls are adorable when talking about themselves!
They are also adorable snapping pics using the fun props we had at the party.
We also had a little fun and played a minute to win it game. It’s not that easy catching mints on a lint roller.
The welcome party was so much fun! The anticipation and excitement is high for all that is to come this year. I can’t wait to get started next week!
