It was a huge compliment to find out that Kasi had been hoping I would photograph her senior portraits. Then I found out she had this wish since 6th grade!! No pressure, right?!
Finding this out was a great reminder as to why I do what I do! I made the decision to make senior portrait photography my main area of focus because of the love for the genre combined with the far-reaching effect each session had.
When my seniors walk away from a photo session feeling more beautiful and confident than when they have arrived, I feel as though my mission is complete.
The battle with self confidence can be a long one. My purpose is to shorten this battle – photo by photo -reminding each and every girl to embrace their God given beauty. No one was created the same, and that is powerful. That is cause for celebration!! Which is ultimately what a senior session is; a big celebration!
So today we celebrate Kasi!! If only you could hear her awesome giggle through these photos. It’s pure joy!
